The following organizations have recognized Sarah Cannon for our specialized cancer care:
Commission on Cancer (CoC)
The Commission on Cancer, a program of the American College of Surgeons, recognizes cancer programs that are dedicated to providing patients with comprehensive, high quality care. These programs are committed to improve survival and quality of life by utilizing a multi-disciplinary team approach to coordinate the best treatment options, ongoing patient education and support, and patient follow-up through cancer registry.
Throughout the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, we have 76 CoC programs, which include 98 facilities.
National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)
NAPBC, a program of the American College of Surgeons, is a national program dedicated to improving the quality of care and outcomes for patients with breast cancer and other diseases of the breast. This program defines breast program standards, best practices, and care components that collectively provide the most coordinated, comprehensive care for our patients.
Throughout the Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, we have 30 sites with the NABPC Accreditation.
Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT)
FACT is a non-profit corporation co-founded by the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) and the American Society of Blood and Marrow Transplantation (ASBMT) for the purposes of voluntary inspection and accreditation in the field of cellular therapy. FACT is an international accreditation body that addresses all quality aspects of cellular therapy treatments. Organizations that achieve FACT accreditation have developed and implemented a foundation of high-quality practices that result in cell products and patient care that are sought after by physicians and patients.

American College of Radiology (ACR)
ACR is a professional medical society dedicated to serving patients and society by empowering radiology professionals to advance the practice, science and professionals of radiological care. The ACR’s accreditation program assesses a facility’s personnel, equipment, treatment-planning, treatment records, patient-safety policies and quality control.
Throughout the Sarah Cannon Network, we have ten sites with ACR accreditation.
