It's Movember! What Does That Mean Again?
What do moustaches have to do with men's health? Well, during Movember (November 1 - 30) growing a moustache is a lighthearted and visual way to bring some attention to men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.
Throughout the month, participants are encouraged to "let it grow," with individuals and groups supporting their "moustache momentum" by donating to Movember, a national, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization. (Learn more about Funded Programs .) To date, the Movember community has raised $559 million and funded over 800 programs in 21 countries.[i]
