Cancer Research in Nashville
In 2022, Sarah Cannon Research Institute opened its new, expanded Drug Development Unit (DDU) in Nashville, Tennessee. Located in the City View Medical Plaza Building, the DDU offers patients facing cancer access to first-in-human and other early-phase clinical trials in partnership with Tennessee Oncology. The 25,000 square foot clinic expands opportunities for both our patients and colleagues, and features:
- 24 Infusion Bays
- 9 PK Rooms
- 15 Exam Rooms
- A Centralized Community Hub
- Custom Designed Infusion Stations
Our Team
While enrolled on a study, patients are supported by a comprehensive care team through every step of the clinical trial process including physicians, enrollment research nurses, clinic research nurses and nurse practitioners, research pharmacy staff, infusion nurses, laboratory technicians, patient support team, and study and data operations teams.

Our Location
Sarah Cannon Research Institute at Tennessee Oncology DDU is located at 335 24th Avenue North, Suite 200, Nashville, Tennessee, 37203. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Guest pick up and drop off is at the entrance on 335 24th Avenue North. Parking is available across the street in the H Garage, adjacent in Lot G, or valet at the front entrance.
