Three Things to know
Why is the Test Important?
Earlier detection of cancer, through effective screening tools, can have an enormous impact and save lives, by finding cancers when they can be more easily treated and potentially cured. This study is helping develop a new type of blood test, designed to help detect cancers at these earlier stages. The test looks for many types of cancer at the same time, many of which do not currently have any screening tests available.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone 50 years and older with no personal history of cancer.
OR
Anyone 50 and older who has recently been diagnosed with breast, bone, gastrointestinal, head and neck, gynecologic, lung, bladder, kidney, soft tissue or unknown primary cancer, and has not yet undergone treatment.
Will Results be Provided?
There will be no results provided to participants, since this is a research study only and the test is still in development. Participants are volunteering to help play an important role in developing this new type of test.
