Cancer-related physicians participating in the Referral Service Program are in good standing at our facility and credentialed to perform the service you have requested. To participate in the Referral Service Program for cancer-related services, physicians must be accepting new patients in their practice and must support care coordination of cancer patients. In addition, they must participate in Sarah Cannon's comprehensive cancer programs and use Sarah Cannon's cancer care guidelines when appropriate. The physicians in our referral data base have chosen to participate in this Referral Service Program and do not pay a fee to participate. Physician referrals are made on a randomized basis to match your individual needs with consideration for the preferences you have expressed. Physicians who are employed by a competing health care system and those who have a financial interest in a competing hospital are not eligible to participate in this Referral Service Program.
