Tom Cronin
Regional Vice President, Far West Division
Tom Cronin is the Regional Vice President for cancer services throughout HCA’s Far West Division - covering markets in California and Nevada. He is responsible for providing strategic direction for Sarah Cannon’s comprehensive oncology services, improving quality and process operations, ensuring coordinated cancer services and developing programs and services that meet a cancer patient’s needs throughout the care continuum.
Mr. Cronin previously served as Vice President of Business Development at Riverside Community Hospital, a premier 542-bed Level 1 Trauma Center and the largest stroke receiving center in the region. During his tenure, he also oversaw the oncology service line and led the team to achieve significant growth across multiple initiatives including supporting multidisciplinary teams in achieving Sarah Cannon Signature status for its thoracic program and developing a pancreatic cyst surveillance program to detect early warning signs of pancreatic cancer. His tenure is distinguished by his ability to foster a collaborative environment with every team.
Mr. Cronin holds a MPA from California State University Fullerton and a MBA from University of Redlands.
When not working, Tom’s loves include both road and mountain biking, donuts and ice cream, and spending time with his lovely wife and their two children.
