Patients with blood cancers such as leukemia, lymphoma or multiple myeloma may be recommended by their physician for a blood and marrow transplant, also known as a stem cell transplant.

Each transplant experience is unique, and no two patients are exactly alike. The pathway may depend on many factors, including the type of transplant, overall health and disease status.
