Judy Wang, MD
Associate Director, Drug Development, Sarah Cannon Research Institute at Florida Cancer Specialists
Dr. Wang is the associate director of drug development at Florida Cancer Specialists, a strategic collaborating site of Sarah Cannon Research Institute (SCRI). She joined SCRI at Florida Cancer Specialists in 2015 and in her role co-leads the Sarasota early phase clinical trials unit. Wang treats all solid tumor cancers and has a research interest in both colon and pancreatic cancers.
Dr. Wang received her undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University, and thereafter obtained her medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine. Partway through her medical training, she was awarded a Doris Duke Charitable Foundation Medical Research Scholarship, during which time she conducted translational research in Barrett’s esophagus at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Wang completed her internal medicine residency and medical oncology fellowship training at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Johns Hopkins, respectively. She is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
